From the Bride
After our black lab, Chauncey helped Vince and I get engaged all I could think about (after I stopped staring at my ring) was the dress. I couldn't put into words what I was looking for, but I knew I wanted something unique with a lot of lace. After going to one other bridal shop I thought this dress might not exist. That was until the stylist walked out with the most beautiful and elegant lace covered Lillian West gown. It was exactly what I had dreamt about, I knew immediately that this was the dress I was going to walk down the aisle in. I could not stop smiling.
When planning the wedding Vince and I wanted to keep the day simple and full of love. Picking the venue with those things in mind seemed like a no brainer The Downtown Market was our favorite getaway and the greenhouse was absolutely beautiful. The rest of the details fell into place and before we knew it our wedding day was upon us.
Our closest family and friends had traveled to Grand Rapids Michigan to be with us on our special day. I had a little surprise for Vince before we said I do. Our dog Chauncey is a huge part of our life, so it only seemed proper that he also plays a role in our wedding day. As Vince was getting ready Chauncey and I snuck up behind him for a surprise first look. I will never forget the look of love he had in his eyes; it was the perfect private moment with our little family before the day took off.
The day was an absolute dream and we still are smiling about it.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
